                            MINUTES OF THE OXFORD MAYOR AND COUNCIL
                                                  SPECIAL CALLED MEETING
                                       MONDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 2007 - 6:00 P.M.
                                   COMMUNITY CENTER, OXFORD, GEORGIA

 

MEMBERS PRESENT: WILLIAM H. MURDY, MAYOR; HOYT P. OLIVER, MAYOR PRO-TEM; JERRY D. ROSEBERRY; GEORGE R. HOLT; AMMA L. GAITHER; JAMES H. WINDHAM; AND CHARLES GREEN, JR.

OTHERS PRESENT: DAVID STRICKLAND, CITY ATTORNEY;  ERIK OLIVER; LATRELLE OLIVER; AND VIVIAN HARRIS

The purpose of the Special Called Meeting is for the 2nd reading and adoption of a Resolution to enter a temporary moratorium on re-zoning applications.

The Mayor called for the 2nd reading of the resolution.

A motion was then made by Oliver, seconded by Gaither for the approval of a resolution to enter a temporary moratorium on re-zoning applications.  The Council vote unanimous.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 6:10 p.m.
